Mission Statement

Expressing my art through mosaic has become my passion. I invite you to experience my art through the pleasure of viewing it, or join me in my classroom so you too can learn my design and crafting skills.

History

Mosaic is the ancient art of assembling small pieces of glass, stone, shells, etc. I create my fine crafted moasic art primarily of small pieces of glass. I prefer glass because my selection of colors & textures is unlimited. Using glass enables me to create depth & manipulate light, which allows my art to come to life.

Design & Function

Mosaic, like any other art form, can be traditional, abstract or deco. It can be simple or very detailed. Mosaic can brighten up any home or garden and can also be functional.

Classes

I have been teaching mosaics at Stained Glass Emporium for the past ten years. Teaching enables me to pass on the knowledge & skills I have acquired in design, color, composition and crafting to my students. The best part of this art form is that it is not only beautiful, but is a fun and relaxing hobby.

Custom Design

Credentials

I am a professional mosaic artist and an instructor for the past 10 years. I have been featured on WGN television, in the Sun Times Newspaper and am especially proud of my exposure on House & Garden TV (HGTV Cable Television).
